We celebrated Juneteenth with a special ride honoring cycling legend Major Taylor!
Started at Freedom Park, we rode through Buffalo to the historic Broadway Barn (formerly the Velodrome) where Taylor often competed. We also stopped by the Pierce Arrow museum featuring classic cars & bikes from Taylor’s era.
The ride finished where it began in Freedom Park in time for a Juneteenth celebration that welcomed more great speakers, performers, tremendous food and gift vendors to a wonderful afternoon of solidarity, unity and community at the Park.
